The Faculty of Life Sciences is among Europe’s leading university environments within food science, veterinary sciences and natural resources.

 

The faculty is characterised by an application-oriented approach to the natural and social sciences. We strive to put our knowledge to practical use for the greatest possible benefit for the national and international societies.

Through our research, university study programmes and knowledge transfer activities we help produce better food, more health, a better environment and improved welfare and quality of life for people and animals around the globe.
